Affirming justice, equity and compassion in all our relations
Like snowflakes, no two love stories are alike; therefore, your wedding should represent the unique love that you and your partner share. Rev. Nate will collaborate with you in crafting your dream ceremony - a wedding that represents your love story, your beliefs, and your values. He will help you choose text, readings, and music that authentically symbolize your union.
Reverend Nate charges $500 to craft your custom wedding (20-40 minutes), which includes two preparatory sessions and a wedding rehearsal. He charges $150 for a same-day civil ceremony (10 minutes) with no charge for parties under 6 people to meet in his office. There may be a travel fee for off-site weddings or clothing fee for special attire.
Before contacting Reverend Nate please first decide the date, time, and place of your ceremony. Then review his open office hours and email him (email@example.com) with a proposed a time to meet. He can also be reached at (215) 701-9072.
Sanctuary, Chapel, Reception Hall
Here are photos of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, if you are looking for a location for your ceremony or reception. Our building, a signature piece by regionally celebrated architect Frank Furness, is a designated historic landmark. The accessible Sanctuary seats over 500, yet, owing to its unusual design, is an intimate setting for much smaller gatherings. It is graced with rich colors, as well as a Casavant Freres organ and Steinway grand piano. The accessible Chapel, a jewel of stained glass and carved wood, seats 50; there is a Baldwin upright piano in the chapel loft. The accessible Parish Room (not shown), a sunny Victorian parlor, accommodates small to mid-sized receptions. Griffin Hall, our social hall, with adjacent kitchen, seats 150.
Located in Center City Philadelphia within the Rittenhouse-Fitler Square Historic District, our neighborhood embodies the distinctive architectural diversity of several centuries, and is home to many of the city's finest hotels, shops, and restaurants and accessible via public transportation and located with a few block radius of a dozen parking lots.
To rent space in our building, send an email to Business Administrator Norman Fouhy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call him at (215) 563-3980 x 300. The following rental rates represent prices for a two-hour wedding ceremony, or a six-hour a reception:
